CASS’ emergency shelter and supportive services have continually evolved as unmet needs within the homeless population were identified. Prior to the opening of the CASS Dental Clinic on January 1st, 2001 there were no dental services for the homeless population within Maricopa County. That has changed in a dramatic way since CASS opened the Dental Clinic. This program has quickly become the largest volunteer dental program in the state with over 100 hundred dental volunteers providing their time. Since opening in 2001, the CASS Dental Clinic has provided dental care and treatment to over 2,500 homeless men, women and children.
