Life is going well

This week 'Elizabeth' accomplished quite a bit, despite a broken arm. She attended both of her group therapy classes, her individual counseling session, created a new case plan with her Magellan case manager and attended her monthly appointment with her probation officer. Some adversity

While getting out of her new bed recently, 'Elizabeth' got her feet tangled up in her comforter and fell to the ground. She ended up breaking her arm on the fall. Despite tremendous pain and living on her own for the first time in her life, she figured out what she needed to do and called AHCCCS. Elizabeth has now been in her apartment for over three weeks and every day her apartment looks more and more like a home. She now has a a bed donated from one of the case managers here at CASS, one from Ikea with a head board and foot board, no less. She also received a mini stereo system from the CASS donations.
